After losing 65 lbs. and seeing the hanging skin, I knew that I needed to get toned up.  Since starting WRC, I have gone from a size 22 to a size 12.  My energy has increased enormously and what I originally thought was going to be torture is now fun!  He has been my trainer almost since I started at the club and has kept me coming back.  The chronic pain that limited me for 25+ years has been gone since working out.  I can’t say enough good things about WRC and all the staff.  Everyone is great and offers lots of encouragement.  --- Julia Syverson, New Member 2009

“I started at WRC in Dec '07 weighing 285 lbs at 46 years old and was eating like a teenager. My wife and I sought a change because we knew that action was needed to reverse this unhealthy trend. Micah is our trainer. If it was not for him, I would be in a cardiovascular rut with little strength. He has shown me how to use the equipment and weights properly, as well as how to isolate and concentrate on specific parts of the body. Currently I'm at 196 lbs, back into size 34 pants and a goal of 191! My wife says that her sessions with Micah are therapeutic. "I joined to lose weight and bring my diabetes under control.  I also joined to improve my balance and stay independent!   I feel better, walk better and am stronger and healthier.  Dan Young [my trainer] started me off in small steps and then increased my workout over time.  He taught me to stay persistent and consistent.  I have made new friends and enjoy the camaraderie with the staff and other members.  Since then, I have lost 80 lbs; have my diabetes under control and not taking any medicines for it.  I also have my blood pressure and cholesterol under control.  By they way, I just turned 70 years old!"  --- Darrel Young, Member since 2004
